Vega began learning bike fitting in 2010 in Chicago and has been refining her craft ever since, including time as the Retul fitter for a Boulder, CO shop and as a fitter and then manager of a shop in Basalt, CO. In 2020 she opened Hill Climb Acupuncture & Bike Fit, combining her background in treating sports injuries with fit work that corrects the position issues behind them.

An IBFI Level 3 Advanced Fitter, Vega is also a fully certified Retul fitter (Levels 1 and 2, plus the certification exam), and holds BikeFit/CyclePoint certification, ISCO Level 2, and a USAC Level 3 coaching license. As a licensed acupuncturist and board certified herbalist specializing in sports acupuncture, she brings a medical, kinesiology-based perspective to every fit, and she has a track record with complicated cases and imbalances.

Vega is passionate about getting more women on bikes comfortably and confidently, and she works with athletes of all abilities. Clients value her attention to detail, compassionate listening, and cycling-specific knowledge, delivered at a reasonable rate.
